You may have noticed the Pay It 4ward foundation has been a little quiet on our website, but that doesn’t mean we stopped making big noise in our community.

The foundation is still helping, still hosting, and still supporting. You know how we do!

Scholarship Winners!

We are very pleased to present to you the winners of the 2020, 2021, and 2022 Pay It 4ward scholarship!

As ever, we wish you all well in your future endeavors!

2023 Scholarship applications are available now!

The process is two-prong, requiring both a digital application sent by email, and a hard-copy print submission to the PO Box listed on the application.

The deadline to submit is May 5th, 2023, so don’t wait! Click the button now to submit!

The Giving Season…

This past holiday season we helped two families in need have a fruitful Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas. Your donations allowed us to provide meals, toys, and household items, and no doubt created happy memories for members of our community.

We are incredibly grateful for your support and look forward to continuing this work in the future.

Who’s House? Creighton’s House

After a brief hiatus and a little road trip, last summer we brought the PayIt4Ward basketball tournament back to Creighton’s House - Wilcox High! And it felt so good to be back home!

This was also our first ever co-ed tournament and it was awesome to see everyone raining buckets in the Santa Clara heat!

That’s the sweet sound the ball makes as it slips through the net… and the sound of another awesome PI4W update coming to your web browser. Lucky you!

Our annual Summer Classic basketball tournament is now a Summer Run! It’s still all about basketball, family, and fun, but now it’s also about competition for competition’s sake. For getting out on that court and knowing you’ve played your heart out, no win or loss to worry about. And the results have been ASTOUNDING! Not only have we seen some great moves on the court, we’ve witnessed so many moving displays of teamwork and sportsmanship and comradery between the teams.

For the second year in a row, The Foundation’s Christmas Care Package drive was a huge success. With the help the awesome young ladies of Presentation High School’s Girls Basketball Team, the board succeeded in assembling and distributing 100 care package to the homeless in San Jose. Thanks again Presentation Girl’s Basketball for donating your time and positive energy to our mission of paying it forward!

Mark Your Calendars

The 4th annual Summer Classic will be here soon and we're looking forward to another three days of blistering basketball action!

This annual event honors our great friend and family member, and help to keep his legacy alive. not only that, it brings together the community through an event that fosters team work, builds community, and creates a space for fun!

Creighton would be proud!

All of the officials and parents working the game are volunteers, donating their time and resources to benefit the Creighton Lane Foundation in our mission to Pay It 4ward.

Donations made at the door all go toward the Foundation's goals, as do sales from t-shirts available for purchase at the event. And
Stay Smokin' BBQ will be there Saturday, July 21st, serving up their delicious BBQ and sides for purchase. 

If your company would like to donate to the tournament (cash or raffle prizes) and have the logo placed on the tournament t-shirts, please contact Jessica at creighton.scholarship@gmail.com.  

And if you'd like to donate items for the care packages (See items needed in the Holiday Giveback section above) please bring them to the tournament!

HELLO SPRING!


2018 is moving forward, which means it's time to look back at all the great things we've done since our last contact. And boy have we done a ton! Check it out!

Holiday Giveback

This year the Pay It 4ward Foundation was fortunate enough to help some of the members of our community celebrate the holiday season. By hosting two Givebacks!

In November, The Gomez family was chosen to receive a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings! Ms. Gomez is a single mother supporting herself and her three children. Working hard day in and out, she never asks for help, so she was very shocked,  and equally grateful, to be the recipient of the holiday giveback!

But we didn't stop there!

As Christmas rolled around, the Foundation teamed up with the Presentation High School Basketball team to take the giving spirit to the next level. Together, we assembled 100 care packages for the homeless. These bags each contained gloves, socks, and beanies to get through the cold NoCal nights, as well as the essentials: toothbrushes and toothpaste, shaving cream and razors, shampoo, conditioner, hair combs, and soap. 

The items were distributed in the San Jose area to those in need. And while the thank you's were appreciated, the pleasure was all ours!

A special Thank You to Matt Fultcher and his team of amazing cooks over at Stay Smokin' BBQ for providing the delicious meals! If you're in the area, be sure to check them out!
