How is the Foundation funded?

The foundation is funded by your generous donations and through T-shirt sales.

How much of my donation or purchase goes to the fund?

Every penny of the proceeds goes toward the fund.

Is my donation tax deductible?

YES, your donation is tax deductible. We are a federally recognized non-profit organization. If necessary, the number is available upon request. 

How many scholarships are awarded each year?

Our goal is to give out two scholarships each year: One to a student from Wilcox HIgh School, and an additional scholarship to a recipient from a local youth organization.

I'm a high school senior. Do I qualify?

You will need the following to be eligible:

  • Must have 3.25 GPA minimum
  • 40 verifiable community service hours
  • Submit a two (2) page essay on the topic provided that year
  • Provide two (2) letters of recommendation
  • Supply a copy of your letter of acceptance to a college or trade school
  • Provide your official high-school transcripts. (Your school should provide these in a sealed envelope)

When does the submission process begin and when are applications due?

As the submission start date will vary from year to year, please join the mailing list to be notified. Applications will be DUE in MAY, with the exact date to be determined each year. Again, please join the mailing list to be notified.

When does the scholarship winner receive the award and funds?

For winners attending a 4-year institution, the award and funds will be issued prior to the recipient's graduation date. For winners attending a 2-year institution or a trade school, the award will be issued prior to graduation, and the funds will be delivered with proof of enrollment. 

Do the shirts run true to size?

Yes, they do. Each shirt is standard size for adults. Sizes are available from Small to 4XL.

I have a problem with my order. Who should I contact?

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us at creighton.scholarship@gmail.com as early as possible. Be sure to specify "ORDER ISSUE" in the subject line of your e-mail for a prompt response.  Please note we are unable to return merchandise, but can exchange items if there is an issue with sizing.
