The school year is already in full swing, and we want to make sure the students in our community have a chance to kick off the new academic year with the supplies they need. If you know someone who could use a hand getting school supplies, or may even need help during the upcoming holiday season, don't hesitate to reach out. We want to help when and where we can!

it's the CLASSIC!

Four years since its inception, the Creighton Lane Pay It 4ward Summer Classic is still the hottest game in town. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, this year the classic took place at the newly dedicated Creighton Lane Memorial Gym at Wilcox High.

To commemorate this once in a lifetime event, the best and baddest ballers in the nation came out to strut their stuff, giving us dazzling displays of basketball wizardry and reminding us all of what's at the very core of this game — sportsmanship, teamwork, and having fun.

On Nov 26th, 2016, the Wilcox Chargers gymnasium was formally named the Creighton A. Lane Memorial Gymnasium. This is a HUGE honor to have had bestowed on our beloved father, brother, coach, and friend.

A New Direction

Our foundation has been so fortunate in achieving its primary mission of providing scholarships to students in our community. But we want to do even more!

Beginning this year, in addition to the scholarships, we'd like to Pay It 4ward in a different way—by helping families in need. Our initial push will focus on acquiring donations during the holidays and the start of the school year, and also to assist the homeless with warm items during the winter months.

Who is #QueenOfTheCourt? Summer Classic results ahead!

THE THIRD ANNUAL PAY IT 4WARD SUMMER CLASSIC PROMISED

to be the must-see basketball tournament of the year.

And it didn't disappoint.

Two-time victors Metro San Jose weren't just aiming to remain the undisputed champions, they were trying to pull off basketball's Hat-trick—the coveted 3-peat. It's rarefied air breathed in by only The Celtics, The Lakers, and The Bulls before them, and these ladies wanted to dunk with the greats.

But 9 other teams stood between them and their goal.

SANTA TERESA, LELAND, and EVERGREEN had laced up and come to play, SILVER CREEK, MISSION SAN JOSE, and NOTRE DAME BELMONT were in it to win it, and CUPERTINO, MILLS, and LOS GATOS weren't going down without a fight.

They all had their sights set on being the new #QueensOfTheCourt. 

  
But METRO SAN JOSE had a title to defend.

For pride. For honor. For

GREATNESS...

It would take skill. It would take discipline. It would take grit.
And after three days of pulse-pounding play, three days of heart and hustle,

the winners were...

METRO SAN JOSE!!
CONGRATULATIONS on your victory, and on pulling off the 3-peat, ladies and Coach Wade!
